Kim Kardashian’s Sultry Crotchless SKIMS Catsuit Sparks Trolls; Netizens Ask ‘Can Someone Tell Me The Point Of This Thing?’
Kim Kardashian displayed sass and boldness on the official SKIMS Instagram handle, which has ultimately sparked trolls
It seems Kim Kardashian was inspired by Rihanna’s playbook for her latest SKIMS launch - a crotchless cutaway catsuit ($108) made of see-through black mesh - described as "the ultimate after-dark staple."
The fashion mogul displayed sass and boldness on the official SKIMS Instagram handle on Wednesday, February 9, which has ultimately sparked trolls and they are funny!
The product description reads, "Make a statement in an ultra-sexy full-body catsuit made of sheer stretchy mesh that hugs your curves. This mock neck pullover style features long sleeves with gloves, a cut-out back detail, and an opening at gusset that extends to lower butt for maximum impact."
Many were baffled by the sultry design and they went ahead to criticize the design of this catsuit in comments on the latest Instagram post, expressing their displeasure.
One fan noted, "It's giving quickie," while others questioned the garment's utility outside the bedroom. "Can someone tell me the point of this thing?" one wondered, while another asked, "Where do you even wear this?" and another fan wrote, "It looks super uncomfortable."
SKIMS was founded in 2019 (one year after Savage X Fenty) and is now worth several billion dollars. The brand expanded to include bras and underwear, sleepwear, loungewear, and more after starting with shapewear or, to use Kardashian's preferred word, ‘solution wear’ in a range of inclusive sizes and colours.
SKIMS teamed up with Fendi for its first high-fashion partnership in November, which raked in $1 million in its first minute on the internet.
